Arthur L. Speck, Jr.
Arthur is Precision’s lead creative strategist and copywriter. A 34 year direct mail veteran of GOP campaigns, Arthur launched Precision Marketing in 1989 after five years of working in-house for Senator Bob Dole and with two creative agencies. Arthur is a pioneer and a passionate believer in data driven “dialogue response” that creates a genuine relationship between donors and campaigns that results in more dollars for the client and winning elections. Arthur is a Sewanee graduate, has held various volunteer leadership positions in his community and coached just about every sport his kids played growing up. He is the 5th generation of a Texas ranching family and spends as much time back on their working ranch as possible. Arthur is an avid hunter and has run the Marine Corps marathon three times. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children: Cathryn who is an Honors graduate of the University of South Carolina and Arthur III who is a rising Senior at Sewanee.
Stephen joined the Precision team in 1999. In 2003, Stephen was promoted to Vice-President, and in 2015, he was named President. In his tenure at PMI, Stephen has managed the production for more than 250 million units of mail, accounting for well over $350 million in revenue for his clients. With a firm belief in personal service, Stephen brings a trained and successful eye to every phase of your program – from the drawing board to message creation, the machines and results analysis. With 3,200+ mailings under his belt, he specializes in catching mistakes before they happen and taking headaches off of your desk. A graduate of Wake Forest University, Stephen has served as an Elder in his church as well as numerous other positions for local non-profits and charities. He enjoys playing golf, fly-fishing and spending as much time as he can with his wife Laura and their three daughters, Hattie, Ellis and Louise.
